Charles Bennett Shealy, age 75, of Irmo, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
Mr. Shealy was born September 2, 1948, to Charles Ray and Edith Eleazer Shealy. He graduated from Irmo High School in 1966 and the University of South Carolina in 1971. He went on to serve in the Air Force Reserve Airmen from 1971 to 1976. After the military, Mr. Shealy worked with his father as a contractor at the family business, C.R. Shealy and Son, Inc.
Mr. Shealy is survived by his partner, Deborah T. Heddy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Mr. Shealy will be held at a later date.
