Chapin- Barry Reed, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He cherished the joy of roller skating, a hobby that brought him endless happiness and connection with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Elaine, three children; Barry and his wife Tina, Jessica and her husband Todd, son Timothy and his husband Bob; five grandchildren, Victoria, Audrey, Jake, Lola, Dyson, three sisters; JoEllen and her husband Monte, Teresa, Jill and her husband Harold, two brothers; Steve and his wife Carol, Nelson, three sisters-in-law; Darlene, Jackie and her husband Del, Nancy,three brothers-in-law; Danny, Tommie, Larry and his wife Terry.
Barry was preceded in death by his brother; Brian, and two brothers-in-law; Eddie and Jeff.
A gathering of family and friends for Barry will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dunbar Funeral Home - Dutch Fork Chapel, 7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, South Carolina 29063.
