Rebecca “Becky” Cathaleen Petz, 75

Becky was born November 11th, 1947, in Pampa Texas to Jack Elmer Glover and Eva Dean (Scheu) Glover. She married Joeseph “Joe” Frank Petz on July 25th, 1971, in Amarillo Texas. Becky was a homemaker until her children attended school. She worked in the cafeteria at St. John’s Catholic Church in Borger Texas and later was a security guard at the Phillips Petroleum plant in Borger. She and Joe moved to Wichita Falls in 1999 and made their home at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church where Becky cooked and served food to the children attending school there. Becky enjoyed fishing, crocheting and puzzles. But her great joy was in being a wife and mother to her two sons and spoiling her grandkids.

Becky is preceded in death by her husband Joe and her son “little” Joe, her parents and one sibling, Sandy Forsythe, and one stepson, Ron.

Surviving relatives include her son, Dustin Petz of Yukon Ok, her sister, Barbara Franklin of Wichita Falls, two stepdaughters, Michelle Shirley of Texas, and Vicky Smithy of Washington, eight grand children and 4 great grandchildren including Avery Petz who shares her birthday.
