Marsha Ann Horton Solomon

Marsha Ann Horton Solomon, 73, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Graveside Services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Marsha was born August 12, 1940 in Wichita Falls to John and Dorothy (Harrell) Horton. She and Max Solomon were married May 21, 1959 in Wichita Falls. Marsha was employed by The Clinics of North Texas for 20 years and Iowa Park High School cafeteria for over ten years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park where she was president of her Sunday school class. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Johnnie Lee.

Survivors include her husband Max Solomon Sr. of Iowa Park; two sons Max Solomon Jr and wife, Cheryl, of Wichita Falls and Mark Solomon of Iowa Park; two daughters, Michelle Solomon of Fort Worth and Melinda Solomon of Iowa Park; a grandson, Eric Solomon and wife, Shawntai, of Wichita Falls; great-granddaughter, Isabella; three sisters Karen Krapek and husband, Bill, Rita Rutland and husband, Steve and Mary Lawrence and husband, Earl; one brother, Charles Horton; special nephew Lee Horton; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of 6 Center, United Regional for their care and support for not only her but the entire family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
