LaDell Jordan

LaDell Jordan, 92, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Iowa Park. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10 AM in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Don Pellikan officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

LaDell was born March 20, 1922 in Lockesburg, Arkansas to Lee Roy and Shirley Dell (McCary) Trimm. She graduated from high school in 1940 in Iowa Park and worked as a cashier for Parker’s Grocery Store. She married Lindon Ross Jordan on March 11, 1955 in Iowa Park. LaDell was a member of First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park for over 50 years. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, a Cub Scout and Little League mother, and taught Tatting at Midwestern State University.

LaDell is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one sister, Ruth Capehart.

Surviving relatives include four children, Marcus Jordan and his wife, Pam of Holliday, Texas; Lynn Crow and her husband, Chuck of Electra, Texas; Michael Jordan and his wife, Cindy of Iowa Park; and Ron Jordan and his wife, Sandra of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Rachael Jordan of Wichita Falls; Caleb Jordan and his fiancé, Heather Hardee of Holliday; Collin Jordan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Zack Crow of Amarillo, Texas; Mickey Jordan of Iowa Park; Mable Jordan of Iowa Park; Mindy McNeal and her husband, Jeff of Lewisville, Texas; and Carma Chisam and her husband, Matt of Alamogordo, New Mexico; great grandchildren, Jordan Vinson of Wichita Falls; Jaida Vinson of Wichita Falls; Jailee Jordan of Wichita Falls; Easton and Holden Chisam of Alamogordo; and Ryland McNeal of Lewisville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
