Katherine Wanzell Duggins

Katherine Wanzell Duggins, 83, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Harden and Rev. Kendall Graves officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Wanzell, a lifelong resident of Iowa Park, was born July 7, 1931 in Iowa Park to Ruben and Stella (North) Copeland. She was a 1950 graduate of W.F. George High School in Iowa Park. She was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church in Iowa Park and enjoyed spending her time sewing and loved cooking meals for family and friends.

Wanzell was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ruben Copeland, Jr.; three sisters, Juanita Lyons, Geneva Anderson, and Oleta North; and two sons, Sammy and Rodney Duggins.

Surviving relatives include her children, Jimmy Duggins and his wife, Connie of Iowa Park; Susan Johnson and her husband, Paul of Wichita Falls; and Robert Duggins of Valley View, Texas; 13 grandchidlren; 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Tabernacle Church, 802 N 1st Street, Iowa Park, Texas 76367. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
