Josephine Taylor

Josephine (McCurdy) Taylor, 93, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Electra Memorial Park in Electra, Texas. Visitation will be held at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas from 3-6 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2016.

Josephine was born June 5, 1923 to Gabe and Hack (Perry) McCurdy. She married Benny Lewis Taylor in 1939. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three children, Benny Ray Taylor, Sharon Kay Masters, and Donna Gail Simpson; and two great-great grandchildren, Gabrielle Garlettes and Rylee Clayton Taylor.

Surviving relatives include her children, Mary Louise Vickers, Lewis Clayton Taylor, and David Lynn Taylor, all of Electra, Texas; two sisters, Dolly Brock of Henrietta, Texas and Hazel Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
