Janis L. Wilcox, age 92 of Iowa Park, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Iowa Park, Texas. Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Dr. Derrell Monday and Pastor Glen Pearce officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the funeral home.

Jan was born November 27, 1925 to the late James and Nettie Alexander. Jan and Robert Wilcox were married on July 11, 1959. Jan was a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eulalia Jennings, Neva Hill, Jimmie D. Davis, Valice Reville; and brother, Junious Cornell Alexander.

Surviving relatives include her husband of 58 years, Robert Wilcox of Iowa Park; daughters, Glenda Fourd of Corsicana, Texas; Vanessa Wilcox of Iowa Park; and son, Richard Henry of Pearl, Texas; two granddaughters; one grandson; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many many friends.
