Jamie Lynne Andrews

Jamie Lynne Andrews, 61, of Iowa Park, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 28, 2023 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by family and close friends at Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Jamie was born to James “Bud” and Geraldine “Jerry” Gilmore on July 9, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Iowa Park High School, she worked at the Texas State hospital for a short time before opening a home daycare for school age children. Most recently, she worked at United Regional Hospital for over 10 years as a telecommunications operator.

Jamie had the biggest heart, the most beautiful smile and was always known for her funny sense of humor. She loved scrapbooking family photos, baking sweet treats for friends, and embroidery work. Throughout her cancer journey, Jamie remained strong in her faith and her joy for life kept her spirits lifted high.

Jamie was predeceased by her father, James “Bud” Gilmore. She is survived by her mother Jerry Gilmore and her daughter Jamie Lynn. She is also survived by her only grandchild, Wyatt Barnard.

A visitation will be held at Dutton Funeral Home at 300 E. Cash Street, Iowa Park, TX on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 5pm – 7pm. Graveside services will be held at the Pavilion at Highland Memorial on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11am.
