Heath Wayne Hodges, 35, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Crowell, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 5, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Pastor Tim Franks and Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home.
Heath was born September 23, 1982 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Bobby Wayne and Cathy Lynn (Cosstick) Hodges. He graduated in 2001 from Iowa Park High School where he was a member of the National Honors Society, and was active in Vocational Ag, played football and baseball. Heath graduated from Tarleton State University with honors in 2005. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He married Malorie Annette Fulfer on September 20, 2008. Heath dearly loved his two daughters. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and training his black lab, Willow. Heath was a real people person. Friends told him he ought to be a politician and he always laughed. Heath was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park and was a member of the Iowa Park Masonic Lodge No. 713. Heath was manager of Quality Implement Company of Burkburnett and was devoted to his job. He was on the board of the Farm Bureau and a member of the Iowa Park 4B Board.
Heath is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wayne Hodges, step father, Todd Duncan, paternal grandfather, Jackie Eugene Hodges and maternal grandmother, Loretta Cosstick.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Malorie, daughters, Ava Lynae and Harper Ann; brother, Hagen Duncan and wife, Michea; sister, Denea' Duncan; parents, Tim and Cathy Thomason; grandmother, Barbara Hodges; and grandfather, Phillip Jaye Cosstick and wife, Sandy; cousins, Ginger Hodges and daughter, Halli; Loran and Nolan Williams; aunts, Lisa Doyle and Lori Williams and husband, Norman; nieces, Madison, Ashdyn and Piper Fulfer; Jacelyn Woodard and Hinley Todd Duncan and numerous other family and friends.
