Glenn O'Neil Durham

Glenn O’Neil Durham, 84, of Iowa Park, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Wichita Falls. He was born on November 13, 1931 in Georgia to the late Harvey Durham and Alma Mines Durham. On September 26, 1953 he married Nancy Bentley in Denison, TX. Mr. Durham retired from the U.S. Air Force and then later retired from Northrop Operations in Wichita Falls. He was active in assisting the Iowa Park City Council in obtaining the city charter and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Durham of Iowa Park; two sons, David Durham of Iowa Park and Donald Durham and wife Mary Jane of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Heather Boyle, Kayla Boyle, and Mark Durham; great grandchild, Kira Collier; sister, Louise Murphy of DeLand, FL; brother, Calvin Durham of DeLand, FL; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Glenda Boyle, in 2014.

Graveside services with full military honors will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park with Dale Turner, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at Dutton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made of Hospice of Wichita Falls.
