Cheryl Roberts

Cheryl Kaye Roberts, 58, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas after a five and one half year battle with Breast Cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.

Cheryl was born September 30, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Kris Roberts on August 30, 1980 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Cheryl was a realtor for several years in the area. In earlier years, she worked mainly in childcare including being a foster parent for over 20 children. Most of all, Cheryl had a deep love for her family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Monroe Layfield, Jr. and Wanda Fern (Balis) Dickson.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Kris Roberts of Iowa Park; children, Brandon Roberts and wife, Nikki of Bird City, Kansas and Taylor Roberts of Iowa Park; brothers, Timothy Clark, Archie Layfield, Ronald Layfield, Michael Layfield, Thomas Dickson, Kenneth Dickson; and sisters, Angie Hutchinson and Kelly Campbell; and grandson, Casey Roberts along with six bonus grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
