Carol Kathleen Phillips

Carol Kathleen (Moen) Phillips, 72, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey McMurray, Hospice of Wichita Falls Chaplain, officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the funeral home.

Carol was born December 17, 1941 in New Auburn, Wisconsin to Harold and Maxine (Pitts) Moen. She married Rayford Earl Phillips on May 25, 1964 in Manitou Springs, Colorado. She was a veteran of the US Army. Carol loved spending her time with arts and crafts, watching movies, and collected anything Elvis. She also loved fishing and caring for her roses. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Phillips; her parents; and one brother, Terry Moen.

Surviving relatives include her son Michael Phillips and his wife, Glenda of Iowa Park; son, Mark Phillips and his wife, Venus of Dallas, Texas; sister, Andrea Eslinger of Cadott, Wisconsin; sister, Sharon Whitford of Iowa Park; six grandchildren, Heather, Adrian, Angelica, Cheyenne, Gary Whitford, and Nicole Carroll; and four great grandchildren, Jasmine, Rachel, Nathaniel, and Nevaeh.
