Arvil (John) Hatfield

A visitation for John will be held Monday, November 28, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E Cash St, Iowa Park, Texas 76367. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, Iowa Park, with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Graveside will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas.

John was born on September 9, 1924, to John Hatfield and Nancy Morefield. He retired from the Air Force in 1969 and then again from civil service at the Air Force Base. He worked at Walmart for many years as a greeter and “Certified Baby Inspector” until the age of 91. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church from 1969 until his death.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosalie (Wright) Hatfield, and is survived by his wife Joan, two children, Johnny Hatfield and wife Linda, and Janice Daveto and husband, Tony. In addition, he had four step-children, Larry Toller and wife Kenett, the late April Toller Jagger, Scott Toller and wife Jtoy, and Wes Toller and wife Sandra, He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
