Shirley Agnes Doyle

Born August 18, 1943, passed away September 11, 2022 in Inverary Manor, Inverness.

Shirley was a daughter of the late Catherine (MacLellan) Doyle and Charles Wintrop Doyle.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Doyle) Lelievre (Paul); grandchildren, Renee, Christina and Catherine; great-grandchildren, Skylor, Rory and Dean; sisters, Teresa Doyle (Halifax), Iris MacDonald (Ontario), Ann (Jack) MacIsaac (Inverness), Blanche (Donnie) Doucett (Ontario) ; brothers, Elmer (Ontario), Stephen (Evelynn) (Cheticamp), Brown (Linda) (Inverness), Eldon (Inverness), special friend and brother, Jerry (Tonya) (Margaree); sister-in-law, Mary (Girourrd) Doyle (Ontario). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, not to mention Darlene, who was her friend and go-to person.

Shirley was predeceased by her sisters, Mary (Mookie) Avery, Yvonne MacKenzie, baby Charlene Heather; brothers, Edmund and P.A (Doc).

She passed away in Inverary Manor, Inverness where she was the last resident who moved from the old manor. Here she made a home where she lived with many friends who loved her dearly in Harbourlights. She has left an everlasting impression and will never be forgotten.

Visitation will take place in Inverness Funeral Home on Friday September 16th from 3-7 pm. Funeral Mass to be held in Stella Maris Church, Inverness on Saturday September 17th at 11:00 am with Father Daniel Tshimbalanga officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
