Buppy worked many years at Robin Jones store and then worked for the Municipality of Inverness County for years until he retired in 1991. He was an active member of Stella Maris Parish, Inverness, N.S.
Buppy enjoyed his early morning visits to the Coal Miners Café; where he met his coffee buddies to discuss the daily news of the town. He always loved talking to his friends and family and entertaining them with his stories and jokes. Buppy could be found almost daily at Ivan's Store to get his stash of scratch tickets which gave him great pleasure.
Special thanks to Dr. Belen and Dr. Lok who cared for Buppy for many years. Also thanks to the Inverness Palliative Care for their assistance in his time of need.
Grandpa called his Granddaughter Leah his "special Angel" for her ongoing love and dedication to his health and well being. She held a special place in his heart. There will be no visitation and a private family Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am in Stella Maris Church, Inverness with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetary. Donations in Buppy's memory may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society. Online condolences may be made to www.invernessfuneralhome.com Da/Grandpa/Buppy always looked forward to his family visiting and would always say to anyone leaving the house “never say goodbye ; say see ya later or so long “ ...... so until we meet again ... so long ❤️
