Mary Ann MacPhee

Mary is survived by her seven children: Donna (Gary) Meagher; Alexis Beaton; Ronnie (Roxanne) MacPhee; Mary (Scott) MacDonald; Bradley (Bonnie) MacPhee; Lynn (Edwin) MacLean; Tobi (Roy) MacLean. Daughter-in-law, Toodie (Patricia) MacPhee. 11 grandchildren; Gary, Alex, Brock, Lindsey, Grant, Danielle, Spencer, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Nicole, Zachary; and one great-grandchild, Izzy. Mary is also survived by her sisters; Donelda and Elizabeth; and many special nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Alex, son, Daniel, and infant daughter Mary Catherine; sister, Georgina; and brother, Johnny ‘Bun’.

Mary was the most dedicated mother, wife, sister and cherished friend. Mary was very well known for her “world class” fudge, her delicious baking and hospitality to everyone who entered through her door. Her company never left her home on an empty stomach.

Visitation will be held Thursday August 18, 2016 from 6-9pm at the Inverness Funeral Home, 45 MacIsaac St.,. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11am at Stella Maris Church with Fr.Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial will take place, at a later date, in the parish cemetery.
