Lori was born in Inverness on June 13, 1974.
Lori Ann Burke-MacDonell was a rare soul, someone who could always brighten your day, whether it was with a smile, her infectious giggle, or just having the right words. Nothing put a smile on her face like her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She had a love for animals, especially her family pets.
Lori is survived by her son, Dylan (Mauree); daughter, Sidney; husband, Ronald MacDonell; sister, Jennifer (Todd); nieces and nephews, Kirsten, Gage and Jake; stepsons, Alex (Taryn) and Devin (Breanne); and her grandchildren, Madden and Sam.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Lawrence and Muriel Burke.
Lori will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Port Hood and Area Resting Place. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 25th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Port Hood, with Father Eugene Morris officiating. Burial to be held at a later date.
