So saddened to read of Joyce's passing in the Herald today. I have good memories of gathering in our homes for dinner when we lived in Halifax during winters. My deepest condolences to Bob, Marg and Al, Faye and all the family. You are in my prayers. God Bless.

I was saddened to read of Joyce's passing in the Herald today . I have good memories of gathering for dinners in our homes when we were in Halifax and of always meeting up when she would be home in Scottsville every summer. Robert, Margaret and all the family. I was saddened to hear of Joyce’s Passing. She and I were friends in our yonger years, in fact we shared an apartment in Hfx. I have so many great memories of our years together, of our visits home to the Lake on weekends. My sincere sympathy to all the family.

Born in Scotsville to the late Alex Allen MacQuarrie and Jean (Dunbar) MacQuarrie .
She leaves in mourning her husband, Robert (Bob) Marks; stepchildren, Gary (Yvette) , Gail (Brent); and 2 grandson's, Scott (Zoe) and James (Katelyn).
She also leaves in mourning a sister, Margaret Rose (Al) Jay; and a sister-in-law Faye (Winston).
She also leaves in mourning many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley, Moira and Winston.
