George worked at the pulp mill in the 1970s and then decided to become a fisherman because of his love of the outdoors. He fished with Donald Cameron and for many years with Jason MacEachern until George’s retirement.
George loved life, and he lived his life his way. He loved the outdoors, horse racing, hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods. He could tell a good story and was well- loved within his community. He was a jack of all trades and always lent a helping hand to neighbours.
Of all the things George loved, his grandsons,Christopher (Stacy), Saint John, NB, and Ryan and Luke, Little Judique; were at the top of his list. He was their Poppa, and he was so proud of his great-grandson “Little Owen.” George had so many good friends, and had a special bond with Gary Spears, Jason MacEachern, and his racing buddy Paul Cannon.
George’s family knows in their hearts that he rode the jet stream straight to heaven with no stops along the way, and met his old buddy Frankie at the finish line.
