It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and friend. Heaven has gained another angel and we’re sure Nanny has been reunited with her loved ones that were there waiting for her. Eileen was an avid walker when she had her health and her best friend Scampy by her side. She also loved gardening and feeding the birds as she loved the outdoors.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Mary Capstick and daughter-in-law, Gail McEvoy; grandchildren, Hazel (Patrick) Camus, Roy (Sharon) McEvoy, Quentin McEvoy, Justin McEvoy; great-grandchildren, Cale, Spence and Jayme.
She is predeceased by Bennett McEvoy and son, John McEvoy.
Graveside service will be at 3 o’clock on Friday May 6, 2022 in Pleasant Bay Cemetery officiated by Pastor Maggie Plant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eileen's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
