Fraser, Charles Daniel “Charlie” age 89, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017. Born in Inverness on September 21st, 1927 to Angus and Haddie (MacInnis) Fraser.
Charlie worked as a Red Seal carpenter all over Canada and was a very proud craftsman. He was a member of The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Charlie loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing when he wasn’t working on the family farm. He is survived by his wife, Sadie (MacLean) and son, Trevor, both of Strathlorne. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Bessie Florence; brothers, John Angus and Neil Clarence. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service as per Charlie's wishes. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital or to St Matthews United Church Graveyard Fund.
