Zelda Mae Upton

Zelda Mae Upton, of Indianapolis departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at home. She was born September 4, 1948 in Evansville, IN to William Harold and Zelda Kathleen (Watson) Williams. Zelda had worked for Oxford Development, F.E. Harding Paving and most recently as Project Coordinator for Bowen Engineering. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, David Sumner Upton; sons, Benjamin Sumner Upton and David Jacob Upton; sister, Lana (Robert) Herron and brother, John (Tammy) Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Williams. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church (520 Stevens Street in Indianapolis). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
