His father, Willie James Sykes Sr, mother, Marie Sykes preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Charlene Sykes, daughter, Diana Nowlin, stepchildren, Rosemarie Adams, Johnnie Adams, brother, Dale Border, sisters, Maudine Harper, Mandy Sykes, Faye Border, 5 grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends.
His calling will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2015, 11am- 12pm, with his memorial service commencing at 12pm at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church.
