Obituary of William A Tuggle Jr.
William Albert Tuggle Jr. was born to WIlliam and Myrtle Tuggle Sr., on February 7th, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN. He was the father of seven children. William, known to his current wife as Tuggle, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2023. He was the widower of Lois Tuggle, in which he had five children. He later united in matrimony to his loving wife, Flortencia H. Tuggle, whom had two children of her own, on February 14th, 1995. William Tuggle, most affectionately known as Buddy, attended and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and then joined the US Army, where he served twenty years and two tours in Vietnam. William was employed at the United States Postal Service for a number of years and later retired as security guard for Indiana Pendleton Reformatory. William enjoyed spending time watching t.v. and playing solitaire in no place other than his bedroom. He enjoyed bowling weekly where he was a professional bowler in a bowling league. William A. Tuggle Jr is preceded in death by his parents: William and Myrtle Tuggle Sr, 1st wife: Lois Tuggle, sisters: Allene Miller and Patricia Tuggle, two grandchildren: Diona Tuggle and Lorne Tuggle Jr, and two great grandchildren: KayShawn Thomas Jr. and Aladdin Holcomb. William A. Tuggle Jr is survived by his 2nd wife: Flortencia H. Tuggle, four sons: William (Cozette) Tuggle III, Lorne (Phyllis), Michael (Jackie) Tuggle, and David (Sherry) Tuggle, three daughters: Sheri (Kenny) Tuggle, Marilyn (Tony) Hopson, Candie (JD) Hopson, sisters: Cynthia Flemming and Cecelia White, twenty-six grandchildren, eighty-seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, brother-in-law Andrew (Bootsy) Miller, and a host of nieces and nephews.
