William Joseph Mitchell

William Joseph Mitchell, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away July 21, 2022. Will was born June 15, 1966 in Indianapolis the son of John and Marie (Smith) Mitchell. He graduated from North Central High School and Ball State University. He was an avid sports fan, lover of all kinds of music, volunteered on many political campaigns and for charitable causes, especially Juvenile Diabetes. He has been an Excellent live-in caregiver for his mom for the last 3 years. He was preceded in death by his dad. He is survived by his mother, Marie Mitchell; siblings, John, Janet (John) Inderstrodt, Greg (Debbie), Tim, Mary Ann (Bernie) Holand, Tom (Cheryl) and Marilyn (Whenrick) Rodney; 17 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4217 Central Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46205. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial contributions may be give to St. Joan of Arc or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary is handling the arrangements. Mask are requested to be worn.
