Webster John Peterson Jr.

Webster attended Indianapolis Public Schools #26 and #76. He later graduated from Shortridge High School in 1965. Webster then attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he received a bachelor's degree.

Starting his career after school, Webster was a chemist for Curtis Dyna Fog. He later joined the Indianapolis Police Academy in 1977 and retired in 2022. Webster John Peterson Jr. proudly protected and served the city of Indianapolis for 44 years.

Webster was an avid lover of photography, enjoyed making people laugh. He loved and deeply cherished his family and friends.

Mr. Webster John Peterson Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, December 21st at the age of 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Webster John Peterson Sr.; sister, Diana Peterson-Lowe, brother, Michael A. Peterson Sr. and nephew David Robinson Jr.

He leaves to cherish his legacy his children, Billie Jean, Ashley and Jeremiah Peterson, his grandsons, Phoenix, Desmond, Charles, Jaden and Jase. Granddaughters; Clementine (Halo), Alexis, Sierra, and Ashley. Brothers; Larry (Janice) and Johnathan. Sisters; Michelle, Barbara and Rhonda. Nieces; Tracy, Nickole (Charles), Lee, Teria (Robert), Jennifer (Demetrius), and Joy. Nephews; Dominic Jr. Michael Jr. (Denise) Christopher, Larry Jr. David (Brittany) and EJ. A host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
