Our paths crossed in a dormitory on the campus of Ball State University when Anita and I became neighbors to you and Dionne. The rest is pure love and history. What started as friendship became a sisterhood UNlike any sorority. We (Wookins) will forever hold you in our hearts. Say hi to Rozz for us. There were 10......now there is 8. Gonna miss ya sugar. Rest easy my sister.....❤️

May Peace and Blessings rain down on the Aaron Mapp Family in this moment of grief, transition and adjustment to Mother, Wife, Friend, Confidant, Care-taker and over all great person leaving your physical presence.  Be well and move in and with the Spirit of Vonda.

I favorite memory is when you and Aaron was at Ball State how you would come to my house and eat. Vonda always had a smile on her face and the sweetest person you ever met. When ever I seen her out anywhere she would have that smile. Aaron and the twins has gained an angel.

Vonda was my college roommate, hairdresser, pranking partner and friend. I remember the good ole days of us at Ball State with our dreams and plans. I am glad she got to realize them with a beautiful family.  I am sad to see you go but I know our loss is Heaven's gain. To Mrs. Jackie, Mary, Aaron and her two precious boys, my prayers are with you. May God comfort you with knowing that He is in control.  Psalms 23 says, "The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want." May God bless the entire family during this transition and beyond.

I loved being with Aunt Jackie and  Vonda.  Aunt Jackie was always so warm and welcoming.  One of many fond memories was  shopping.  I enjoyed sitting at Ms.. Timberlakes house that had the bay window.  I guess heaven must have needed an angel. I hope you rest easy. To the Gunn, Timberlake, and Mapp families i extend deepest sympathies.

Cousin Aaron & family I know the lost of Vonda is so painful.  I feel blessed to have met her. She was one of the most lovely and inspiring people I have ever met.  She was a star to God's earth, and now she will be Universal. Bless the family, especially you Aaron and the twins. God bless. Love and prayers to you.

Vonda and her encouraging spirit will always be in our memories of her.  She was beautiful not only outside but also on the inside. Enjoyed our occasional chats and the special way she said Uncle and Auntie. 
Her positive spirit was truly a blessing!

Mapp Family,

I am deeply sadden by the loss of your beloved wife and mother.  Even though I never had an opportunity to met Vonda, the many stories shared makes me feel like we had known each other.  Sending prayers of comfort and strength to the family. God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.



So sorry to hear about the passing of Vonda even though i didn't know her personally i felt i did because of her Auntie. Vonda fought a Good fight I'm praying for the Family 

My dear Team Mapp and family, 
While I understand the will of God, my heart is broken to know that I will no longer hear, “Hey Ms Debra!”  Vonda and Team Mapp were so kind to me. During previous holidays, Vonda would call and say, “Ms Debra, I am bringing you a plate!” The meal typically lasted for several days. When I got my doctorate, Vonda and Team Mapp were there.  My memories of dear Vonda will forever be etched in my heart. Rest dear Vonda in the arms of your savior. ❤️
