Thomas R. Cross

65, of Indianapolis, departed this life July 8, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was born March 28, 1949 in Indianapolis to the late Warren W. and Helen Maxine (Daniels) Cross. Tom was a lifelong and dedicated member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Tom was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Chatard High School. He then attended the University of Indianapolis, earning his degree as a paralegal.

Tom worked over 30 years as a senior paralegal at Linder and Hollowell Law Firm. He formed the Indianapolis Paralegal Association and contributed research and articles to the Annual Surveys of Fidelity and Surety, published by the International Association of Insurance Law Council for a period in excess of ten years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James P. Cross and sister, Lisa Harper. He is survived by his brothers, Warren W. “Bill” (Patricia) Cross and David E. (Charleen) Cross; ten nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews and a host of dear cousins, friends and associates.

Visitation will be from 4 – 8 PM on Friday, July 11th at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 12th at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial follows at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or to your favorite charity in Tom’s name.
