Teresa Russell

Teresa professed her hope in Christ at an early age.

Teresa attended IPS elementary and Arlington High school. Teresa was employed at Raytheon for 20 years.

Teresa was a passionate, hardworking, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She always had a smile that would brighten the room.

Teresa enjoyed listening to music the down home blues was her favorite. She also enjoyed shopping and her mother was her shopping partner.

Teresa received her wings into her heavenly father home on February 5, 2020 at the age of 49.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, King Edward Russell; stepfather Marshall R. Maxey.

Teresa leaves cherished memories to her loving and devoted son Derrick Johnson Sr.; two precious grandsons, Derrick Johnson Jr., and Jeremiah Johnson; loving mother Lee Maxey; devoted sister Margaret Russell, step sister Radonna Maxey; loving brother Greg Jiles; stepbrothers Mark, Marshall, Kevin, Steve and Jeffery Maxey, devoted nephew Gregory Day, special uncle Willie C. Jiles and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service will be held for Theresa, Monday, February 17, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Greater Morning Star Church, 519 East 23rd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Disposition will be private.
