Sue Ann Crawford

Former Plymouth, IN resident and retired co-owner of the Hayloft Restaurant, Sue Ann Crawford died October 17, 2023, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness at the age of 70.

Sue was Baptized and Confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and was a quiet and sweet person. She was an understanding and loving wife, mother and faithful friend. She was known for her beautiful art and wonderful cooking that her family often enjoyed.

She was born in Hackensack, N.J. on September 28, 1953, to Marjorie Ellsworth of Ohio and the late Richard Ellsworth. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Julie Schnute.

Sue was married to Ronald Crawford on July 22, 1974. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by daughter, Jillian Crawford of Indiana; son, Lucas (Sheryl) Crawford Tennessee; sisters, Jeanne (Mark) Doan of Ohio and Margo Witkowsky of Illinois; brother, Doug (Betty) Ellsworth of Illinois and many nieces and nephews.

Per Mrs. Crawford’s wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 18th 2023 from 2-5pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Kidney Foundation
