Stephen Kent "Steve" Harris, age 77, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was born March 9, 1945 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Walter and Oneta "Dee" (Thrasher) Harris. He was a past member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and had most recently been attending St. Barnabas. Steve was a retired nursing home administrator. He loved reading and was a creative person who enjoyed making things. Some of his favorite activities were going antique shopping and attending classic car shows. Steve was also a great cook and history buff. His family will always remember and love him for his patience and the way he could be a bit emphatic in his reactions and story-telling.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Julia Harris and Heather Fox (Chad); brother, Ray Harris (Karen); grandchildren, Hannah Fox, Caleb Weir, and Quincey Weir; former wife and mother of his children, Sue Ann Burns; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. His Funeral Service will be Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
