Stephen R. Frick

Stephen R. Frick, 73, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2015 after battling with MS for the last few years of his life. He was born March 24, 1941 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He grew up in Huntington, Indiana until an athletic scholarship for basketball took him south where he graduated from the University of Chattanooga Tennessee with an accounting degree. He married his high school sweetheart,
Sally Perry and they settled in Indianapolis having three children: Mike, Ron, and Robyn. He first worked at RCA, then at Gibraltar Mausoleum Corporation until starting his own accounting practice in the late 1970’s. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Martin Frick and Mary Alice (Smith) Frick. He leaves behind his four siblings: Darwin (Mary Rose "Chig") Frick, Tim (Margaret "Peggy") Frick, Beth (Kelly) Clevenger, and Dan (Sandy) Frick, his three children, his daughter-in-laws Kathy (Newkirk) Frick and Anne (O'Hara) Frick, and son-in-law David Rooks, and 8 grandchildren: Courtney (Casey) O’Malia, Anna, Brian, Alex, Shelby, Eric, Zachary, and Benjamin Frick, all of which were the love of his life. Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 7243 E. 10th St. from 9 – 11 am on Thursday, February 19th followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church.
