Trained as Nike Hercules Missile System computer and radar repairman were promoted to Specialist 4 Class (SP 4E4).

He served his entire enlistment and attained rank of Specialist 5th Class (E5) with Secret Service

His service included Indiana Army National Guard as Staff Sergeant (SS GE6). Assigned as NCORIC, MIRY MP, HHD 73 SPT BN 1 Nang. Promoted to Sargent 1st Class (SFC E7). Earned rank to Master Sargent (MSG/E7) serving within his command in Germany.

1987, represented the INAR NG for Pan Am games.

He served as Sargent Major (SMG E9). The finance battalion at Ft Harrison until retirement 23 years service. Awarded 4 military accusation specialties. 5 skill indicators and 1 qualification indicator.
