Shirley was a loving and giving mother-in-law who raised 16 of the most loving and fun loving people I have been privileged to call family by marriage. May she have the wind beneath her wings and may we, the family left behind be at peace with our memories and the love she left us.

I attended St. Phillips with Rachel. I moved away after 8th grade, but I'll always remember a return visit I made with my oldest daughter. I was a young mom, and Mrs. Andrews welcomed me into her home and lovingly held my baby girl. She had been crying, but within seconds was resting peacefully in her arms. A few moments of wisdom followed from such a seasoned mother. It meant so much to me. 

Your family is in my prayers during your time of loss.

I so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Shirley was an amazingly strong woman.  Her smile lite up the room and made everyone feel so welcomed and loved.  I am so glad I had the privilege of knowing her for over thirty-five years.  I have so so many wonderful memories of Shirley.  I remember the day she sat with me on the back swing holding my hand and letting me know I was not alone the day my mother passed.  She will be greatly missed.
