Ryan Lamar Jordan

Ryan received his primary education at Indianapolis Public Schools: #102, John Marshall Middle School, and Arlington High School. He professed hope in Christ at an early age where he attended church often. Ryan was employed for several years as a Banquet Host at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

Ryan always brought laughter and joy to everyone he met leaving a lasting impression. He was the president of the “Buddy Boy” Club founded by his grandfather, Charles Jordan, to promote unity amongst his male cousins.

From 2010 to 2012 Ryan participated in the Far East Side Development group. The mission of the group was to help reduce violence in the far east side neighborhoods of Indianapolis where he helped Derris Ross bring fellow peers to the table to steer them in the right direction. He successfully completed this program in 2012.

Ryan enjoyed being around his family and friends, he was a dedicated father, who was often found cuddling and taking selfies with his children. This led Ryan to enroll in the Fathers and Families Resource Program. He successfully completed this program in 2015.

Ryan was very entertaining and was often seen doing a dance that he created which is known by many as the “Jiggalate”. He had a passion for dancing, drawing, rhyming, and entertaining others. Ryan also had the nickname “Pacman” as he was well known amongst his peers.

Being his mother's only son, Ryan always professed his love to his mother and five sisters. Ryan will truly be missed. Ryan was preceded in death by his uncle, Marcus Jordan and nephew, Brentin Malone.

Ryan leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Kelly Jordan, father Ronald Turner; sons Anthony English Jordan, Elijah Ryan Jordan, Ryan Lamar Jordan Jr, and daughter Royal London Jordan; sisters Whitney (Andrise) Steele, Brittany (Ladarrius) Jordan, Natasha Jordan, Kayla Chaney, and Olivia Chaney; brother Rawlin Jones; grandparents Charles and Olivia Jordan, Ceasar and Thelma Turner; fiancee Darrian Graham; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, close cousins, relatives, and friends.
