95, of Indianapolis, departed this life on July 23, 2016. She was born September 26, 1920 in Indianapolis to the late William F. "Frank" and Anna Catherine (Leahy) Callahan.Rose worked for the Real Silk Hosiery Mill and then at the US Army Finance Center. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Sturgis and Anna Dennis and brothers, Francis and John Callahan. Rosie is survived by her dear sisters, Margaret Callahan and Julia "Judy" Looney and a host of loving nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Morning prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28th at the mortuary followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
