This took me a while, because I feel the pain of losing someone you love, I have never met him, but Teresa what you have told me. He was a wonderful and kind man that loved you at the end.  My prayers go out too you. You are a strong woman and a warrior! god bless you.

Today my husband all I can think of is our memories in all that we share I keep asking myself why did you had to leave and I don't get an answer believe me Roger my heart is so broken so many pieces no one understands it all I keep on hearing it's going to be alright and it takes time to heal but I asked myself how do I heal a broken heart the tears that I share are so painful they're not Joyful they just tear of sadness I really wish that you were here with me and with pepper and  lucky in your family but I know you in a better place if only I can turn back the time I really would just like to see you walk back to our door to our lives I love you babe

It's Saturday morning. I woke up early still thinking my beloved husband Roger. Today is 3 weeks of his death but it still seems like it's yesterday I miss you so much being without you is very hard not having you next to me is even harder not hearing your voice in the morning not see your face at night I just don't understand and I know you don't understand as well why you had to leave I cherish our moments in our time together you are the beginning of the chapter of my life when we met 29 years ago the tears that I cry you're not able to hold them for me anymore I will say this is harder did anything that I had to challenge in my life my heart is so broken I know the love that we share no one could ever take that away from me you always be in my heart within my soul thank you for loving me  Roger thank you for being there supporting me in every way even when I was wrong you were still there so with this picture that I put below is one moment that we share together in the car it was special to both of us I would never forget you my babe

Just another day without my husband I sit back and I look at the pictures that was taken at the funeral home it makes me very sad my heart is so broken because I would not be able to hold his hand our Roger being able to hold mines I remember our first date was a wedding we held each other hand in the car so I had to hold his hand towards the end I will say it still felt the same like it always had his love will not be forgotten I miss him so very much I tell you all if you love someone truly love someone tell them I always told Roger  and he also told me that he loves me even towards the end of his death that's what love is

Today was hard to say goodbye to my husband today well we had to depart from one another it was hard very hard but understand this love is so important cherish the one that you love tomorrow may be to late.

I’ve only had the opportunity to meet Roger once that I can recall and that was when he was picking you up from work. I can remember the many times you spoke of and about Roger, it was always with a smile. It was known of the love you both shared for one another. Know that he will always be in your heart and the memories you both shared are all around you. Know that you will never be alone. The good Lord will always be by your side to comfort, encourage, strengthen and remind you of your Roger!❤️

I've known you and Roger for years and you were always happy. Roger was so quiet when i first met him. He would take you anywhere you needed, or wanted to go. He would never complain, he wou just do it,  no matter what time of the day or night it was.
I just want you to know that you are not alone. The rode won't be easy without Roger, but you still have a rode to go down. Don't stop. Keep moving and take Roger with you. He will always be in your ❤. He will still guide you in the right direction

I thank God that we’re all able to see one another at ma’s Birthday celebration!
I’m thankful that my mom married into the Patterson family, and even though her and Norman are resting their soul, you all remain the same!
Roger was the same from day one, laid back and smooth!

Dear Cousin,

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news.  It never occurred to me how much we could lose.  I find myself wishing that it wasn't real.  Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel.  Not being able to attend your services is unreal and painful.  Tears fall from everyone who knew you and we can barely see, but our hearts tell us you'll always be with us.  I'm glad you feel no pain now; you live in a perfect land filled with family, including, Dips, Marry, Norman, Candy, Paul (Butchy), and his beloved mother Beverly.  I will miss you Minky.  Your life touched a lot of people.  Any father would be so proud to call you his son. We will love you and miss you forever, until the day we are together again...together in that perfect place above, filled with caring, sharing, and love.  Until that day comes, I will wipe my tears away, and hope to see you again someday.

Uncle Roger was a laid back quite guy and I love, the love that him and my Aunt Teresa shared through many years. A true blessing and I hope to have that type of love someday.  Even though you are gone continue to watch over her and family. We will miss you. Love you Uncle Roger. RIP

It seems so unreal to be writing this about you. I have known you since I was a kid as Uncle Roger! The countless times I spent with you and Aunt Teresa on weekends, you use to make me laugh! I remember your model cars, books and maps! I know that you and Aunt Teresa were truly meant to be and were made for each other! You both had something that most people dream of have having and that was the bond of your love for each other! You both took your marriage vows seriously because you lived it! Through it all you had each other ! I am glad that God allowed you to be in my life ! You were a gentle soul and very kind! My last time to site see with you was when you went to take me to go get my car! I wish I could bring you back for my Aunt because I know she is hurting without you by her side! I pray that you knew how much you were loved! Aunt Teresa once told me time is of the essence and it is .We have to make sure we spend our time here with love and make it count! Most of all show all the people that God allows in our life that they are loved!

Roger and Teresa shared a love that few people ever get to experience in their whole life, I worked with Teresa for over 15 years, and I can honestly say, there was no mention of nothing but good times, no arguments, fights or quarrels of any kind! Roger will never be forgotten in the hearts of family and friends!

Roger was so sweet and he always would included me when he would give Teresa a ride if we had a meeting in a different building of the campus.   He would do anything for anybody even if he didn't know them. He really loved Teresa and wanted the best for her.  He will be truly missed.

Teresa as your friend and co-worker I got to witness real love between you two. He was well reserved a lot like myself but so caring and loving about you. I know this is and will be the hardest, worst time in life as your best friend has left you. Just know that you experienced a love that a lot of people will never have their entire lifetime. You have a personal angel to guide you thru this thing called life. His body may have left your sight, but his love forever will be with you. Roger peacefully rest well. 

Life is not the same being without you.Roger since you been gone I feel so empty with no direction. Every time when I cry my heart bleeds with sadness I do remember all of the good times we share together you always had my back and I had yours. We stood with each through hard times even through sickness.I never dream of you leaving this way I thought it would be me first due to health I thought that we would grow old together but God had another plan he choose you.Roger I miss you so  very much things are not the same I miss your smile I miss your touch I miss you beside me  words can not express how I feel everything we did we did it together because the love we had. I know you wanted to make me happy and to be the best husband a wife would want you to be I can say you did your best and it was for the love  you had for me Thanks for being there.Roger I can say we were one in our marriage and I was so blessed  that you pick me to  be your wife you were a great husband  I knew that from the beginning just know now you can rest in peace now. Love you  babe now and forever more.

I've known him as Uncle Roger for most of my life. I always saw him as Mr. Cool. I recall early on wanting to fashion myself after him because he had style and swagger. I would often speak to him about politics, traveling and model cars. Unc was well read and knew his way around the city. He always seem to enjoy my stories about my life each time I sat with him to talk. There were many times him and I worked on projects around their house as well as moving big ol tvs aunt asked us to do. One thing I could say he was the closet Uncle Ive known in my lifestyle. He was always there and willing to give or do somethin if needed. After losing my father he was another man I knew I could count on even when id be stuck out in the middle of nowhere. I got to see personally the love he had for my aunt. He would do anything for her and stayed by her side throughout their time together. Ill miss ours talks and also fixing the baked spaghetti he'd at times ask for. Its nice to know as particular as he was he enjoyed that dish. Rest easy Unc! You are loved as you have loved. We'll take care of Aunt as you had done in life. No words can express what you meant to Aunt and the rest of his fam. Unc was always proud of his family. Thanks for showing us all the meaning of that word. Love ya Unc!!
