Robert "Bob" Lawrence

80, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 20, 2020. Bob was born to the late Archie and Mandy Lawrence on April 12, 1939. Bob grew up in Milroy, Indiana, graduated from Milroy High School in 1957. He earned an Associate degree from Indiana Business College in 1959 and went on to work at Central Indiana Distributing before joining Schafer and McCorkle Accounting firm as a staff accountant. The firm later became Schafer and Lawrence as Bob became a partner. Bob retired from

"full-time" work in 2005, but continued doing taxes and supporting the firm part time for several years.

In his retirement he loved to travel with his wife Carol and took many trips with family and friends

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife; Carol Lawrence, children; Annette (Micheal Fisher) Lawrence and Doug (Dawn) Lawrence, granddaughters; Cecelia and Annelise Lawrence, sister; Ola McClure and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Funeral Services will be immediately following at 5:00pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop Eleven Chapel.
