Robert L. Harris

Robert served in the U.S. Army as a guided missile crewman at Poulsbo, WA. Professionally, Robert worked as a builder and contractor for many years. He was an exceptional athlete and enjoyed baseball, golf, and bowling, and was also a talented artist.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings, William, Freda, Oral, Virginia, Delphia, Ruth, Delbert, and Carlos. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Walrond) Harris; his children, Richard K. Harris, Steven D. Harris, Mark A. Harris, and Stacy L. Robbins (Eric); his grandson, Gavin M. Robbins; his brother, Ronald Harris; and his beloved canine companion “Gracie”.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family of Robert Harris is requesting donations be made to Jackson County Community Foundation for the Sack Pack Program in Jackson County, WV.
