Robert Edgar Hall

88, of Indianapolis, departed this life March 8, 2016. Bob was born September 30, 1927 in Indianapolis to the late Robert E. and Martha (Lucas) Hall, Sr. Bob was an Eagle Scout and had earned the Silver Beaver Award. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a 1949 graduate of Purdue University. While at Purdue, he was a member of the Men’s Tennis Team and member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Bob was very active in the Frankfort, IN community and was employed by the Clinton County Bank beginning in 1947 until retiring as Chairman of the Board in 1987. He served as Trustee of Ivy Tech Community College, was a member of the American Legion, The Confederate Air Force, Carmel Christian Church, Frankfort Moose Lodge and numerous tennis clubs. Bob loved playing tennis and was nationally ranked for many years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gail Hall and is survived by his brother, Thomas J. (Gretchen) Hall; one niece and two nephews. His family is forever grateful for the wonderful care he received while at Traditions at Solana. Private services were held.
