Robert Wayne Carter entered the world on December 16, 1928. Also known as Bobby Wayne Carter. He then entered eternal life on September 12th 2024. Robert, better known as "Bob" was born in Tipton, Indiana. He was born to Anna Mae Yeary (Mother) and David Everett Carter (father). Anna passed away when he was only 3 years old. Bob was raised by his grandmother Clara Myrtle Carter in Tipton, Indiana. He was a hard working boy up until his last days. Bob husked corn as a child even as early as 9 years old. He loved running around the neighborhood with the boys and playing in the creek beds. He played on the Tipton Blue Devils basketball team. He had a quiet demeanor with a mischievous playfulness. He was determined and set in his ways. Bob as an adult joined Bushman Company working as a furnace technician and worked his way all the way up to vice president of the company. He then moved to Hoosier Coal & Oil serving as the division manager then proceeding to Baker Boiler & Welding. Bob ended up owning Baker Boiler and Carter Supply. Our father's work ethic was like no other. He was orderly and meticulous. He worked all the way to the ripe old age of 90 years of age. He still till his very last breath tried to get up and go to work. He was a loving soft spoken father. Bob was proud to say he had read the bible front to back several times. He adored all 6 of his children: Dianne Blanton (Michael Blanton), Susan Wenner (Dave Wenner), Tonya Lynn Carter, Christina McNamara (John McNamara), Christina's twin Elizabeth Carter and Robert Carter. HIs loving niece who cared for him till the end Tirajeh Smith (Wes). He was proud of all his 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He dearly loved his brother Jerry and Tommy Carter. Adored his cousin Barbara Scherich (LLoyd & Brad). He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ricky, twin sisters Kitty and Kathy, sister Vicky, and two of his sweet daughters Tonya Carter and Elizabeth Carter. Extra special blessings to those who loved and served him till the end. Bob died peacefully in his daughter's (Christina) arms. May he rest in heavenly peace and be in the arms of the Lord our savior.
