Phillip Michael Stewart

Phillip Michael Stewart, age 64, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Phillip was born on September 10, 1958 in Tipton, Indiana to Ronald and Mary Ann Stewart. He graduated from Elwood High School in 1977. After high school, Phillip joined the United States Army and served his country for 3 years. Phillip married Kimberly on January 4, 1987. He worked for Von Duprin and ALLEGION for 24 years.

Phillip was a member of Southwood Church. He loved spending time with his grandkids and taking care of his home. He also enjoyed swimming with his grandkids and sitting by the fireplace at home. Phillip enjoyed working on cars and watching football. He also enjoyed going to the NHRA Nationals with his son, grandson and brother in law. Phillip will be remembered as a loving Son, Husband, Dad, Papaw, Brother and Uncle.

Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kimberly Stewart; children, Natasha Simpson, Alaina (Tommy Powers) Stewart and Clayton (Kathryn Weaver) Stewart; grandchildren, Karly, Kaleb, Korbin, Kaydra, Kaydence, Julian, Lillian and Jeromy; mother, Mary Ann Stewart; siblings, Rae Ann, Beth Ann, Scott and Kristina; and many nieces and nephews.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Stewart; and grandparents, Irene and Arnold Redmon and Ray and Freida Stewart.

A visitation for Phillip will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. A funeral service, beginning with military honors, will immediately follow at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home.
