Peggy Sue Long

Peggy Sue Long, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Peggy was born in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Delmus and Georgia Bell (Scott) Long. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Long Ogle. Peggy loved to travel and could be out right hilarious. She had a big heart of gold that she shared with many. Peggy worked as a paralegal for the Social Security Administration after graduating from Indiana Business College. She embraced the history, heritage, and practices of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.

Peggy is survived by her wife, Gayle Green; sisters, Rita Eileen Long Baker (Larry) and Carolyn Long East; many nieces and nephews, that she loved to dote on and may have had a few special favorites; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation for Peggy will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
