Patricia Marie (Hagist) Miller was born November 6, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN. The fifth of six children, Patty was a proud alumni of both St. Philip Neri and Scecina Memorial High School. Patty married R. Scott Miller in 1982 and together raised three children.
Patty worked an a nurse through Community Health Network for over 30 years before retiring in 2019. She was a story teller, a music lover, and always had an excuse to get her family together. She was witty, sharp, loving, and could make anyone laugh. Her love for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends was unmeasurable. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Andrew) Bullock, Scott (Chelsea) Miller, and Mitchell (Abigail) Miller; grandchildren, Macklin, Murphy, Maura Bullock, Charles, and Connell Miller; siblings, Michael (Nancy), Daniel (Carol), James ‘Bo’ (Jackie) Hagist, and Mary Ann ‘Sis’ (Randy) Wayne; many nieces and nephews; aunt, Sr. Katherine Manley, S.P. She is preceded in death by her husband, R. Scott Miller; parents, Herman and Helen (Manley) Hagist; daughter, Mary Miller; and brother, Mark Hagist.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, July 13 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 14 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 500 N. Rural Ave, with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Indianapolis.
