Pam married Thomas Ballard, when she was in her early 20's and they have been partners in life for 55 years. She kept busy, which wasn't hard to do as a stay at home mom until her sons, Brian and Brandon, were in elementary school.
She was always on the move, whether it was bowling with her husband or playing golf with a small women's league. If Pam wasn't sitting down on her laptop, then she was at the mall shopping for anything, everything and sometimes nothing at all.
Pam was an avid gambler, she loved playing the slot machines. Perhaps this habit is what fueled her shopping addiction.
She enjoyed getting her nails done, and took pride in her appearance.
During Pam's mother's final years, she spent a lot of time with her and with family in general. She had many phone calls with her sister, Karen, to catch up on the latest gossip.
Pam is survived by her loving husband; Thomas Ballard, sons; Brian (Sherry) Ballard and Brandon (Donna) Ballard, 4 grandchildren; Dalton (Lauren), Savannah (Corey), Zeke, and Luca, 2 great grandchildren; Levi and Ella. She also leaves behind her sister; Karen (Del), her cousin; Susan ("Hutch") Coxey, and her Aunt Delorma.
A memorial service for Pamela will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219.
With Pam being a true animal lover, the family asks in lieu of flowers that you make a donation in Pam's name to the Indianapolis Humane Society, 7929 N Michigan Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46268 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a foundation Pam always made sure to give contributions to, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
