Age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away April 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife, Oma Sue Spears-Butrum, parents, Owen and Ethel Butrum and son, Rickey Butrum.
He is survived by his daughters, Beverly and Teresa Butrum; brother, Ralph Butrum; granddaughter and caregiver, Carrie (Chris) McNeely; as well as 12 special additional grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Odis served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 5, 2013 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Family Funeral Care, 5971 Rockville Rd. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
