Norma Jean Powell Hicks

Ms. Norma attended Beauty School of Ohio, after moving to San Jose, California. She was united in matrimony to Thomas Hicks.

Ms. Norma was employed at Hewlett-Packard and National Silicon Valley in California. She was a cook for the U.S. Air Force Academy Silicon Valley. Ms. Norma worked as a volunteer for Gleaner Catholic charities. She enjoyed assembling pictures in scrapbooks and loved the sounds of Blues and Jazz music.

Ms. Norma is preceded in death by her husband and sons; Norman and Delawrence Jr.

Ms. Norma leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Diana M. Cox, Corniece L. Patton (Thomas), sisters; Katherine Powell Hunt, Anita L. Offutt, sister-in-law; Mamie Thorns, brother, Herbert H. Powell, 3 granddaughters; Lenia J. Burton (Dominick), Ciera C. Waston, Brandy J. Waston, 4 great-grandchildren; Tavion T. Woodley, Calisa N. Garrett, Uriah R. Middleton, December J. Burton and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
