Nathaniel Bates

Nathaniel Bates, 24 of Indianapolis, went home to be with the lord on November 2nd, 2023. He was born February 4th, 1999 to Sandra Russell Bates. Nathaniel graduated top five academically in his class from Carpe Diem High School in 2017. After High School, Nathaniel enlisted in the US Army as a Combat Medic where he served four years; during this time, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, The Army Good Conduct Medal.

Nate was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Russell Bates and grandparents Sarah Bond and Jack Russell.

Nathaniel is survived by his sisters Camille Lauer, Jennifer (Nick) Faires, brother Zachary Bates, and nieces/nephew Camryn, Charlotte & Cashton Faires.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
