93, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully
May 18, 2017. She was born October 26, 1923
to Gilbert and Mary Daniel in Punxsutawney,
Pennsylvania.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband
of 66 years, Dr. Ryland P. Roesch and sons
Daniel (Jill) and Charles (Teresa), and siblings
Robert (Nola), Ralph (Marian) and Muriel.
She is survived by sons Thomas (Theresa)
and Richard (Laura), and grandchildren
Darren and Amanda.
Nancy was a graduate of Brazil, Indiana High
School and attended Indiana University prior
to marriage. She was a member of the
Meridian Street Methodist Church where she
sang in the choir. Nancy also enjoyed
volunteering, including at the Indianapolis
Museum of Art, and tutoring at-risk adolescents.
Nancy will be inurned with Ryland in the
Crown Hill Cemetery Abbey Cremation Garden.
A friends and family gathering to celebrate
Nancy and Ryland’s long and happy life
together will be held in the near future.
